Like they say,"we were meant for each other" and this is what Saurabh and my story is all about. One fine Saturday afternoon, I was logged onto Shaadi hoping somewhere my prince on a white horse would find me, when I heard that weird sound of the Shaadi messenger. It was this estranged guy on the other side with who I exchanged a few liners and suddenly *boom* he was gone! He was out of sight and hence out of mind. Many disappointing and painful various endeavors (some would call them dates) later, when I had completely lost hope and started believing in spinsterhood, I receive a mail from this long lost guy's mom. Very professional and kinda different where she wanted us to talk over the telephone before anything. I insisted on screening his " bio-data" before :) After everything looked ok, I gave my number to her, thinking in my head at the same time that why couldn't the guy actually speak to me directly??!! Now I know that he was too busy and didn't have the time to search for a wifey... duhhh. So here we are now, conversing over loooong calls blowing up his money on international calls trying to figure out what we are all about. I am now told that I would act as this spy and ask him random questions to test his honesty. Gosh! I didn't even realise that. After about 2 months of calls straight through nights, cam chats etc. we met up in Dubai (where I live) and honestly it wasn't really nothing in the beginning but then we both felt this tingling tickle whenever we would think of each other. It was like spring in summer and all of that you read about in books. Saurabh proposed to me on Valentine's day, I was elated and before we knew we were planning a "Monsoon Weddding with a Twist" . We tied the knot the coming July and here we are nicely still honeymooning in our new home in Dubai :) Thanks a ton Shaadi.com for making our lives wonderful
