I was a paid member on SHAADI.com. I sent her a request on 31st December 2009, we met on 31 January and got engaged on 15 February 2010. We both cannot believe that this has happened in such a short span of time. They say marriages are made in heavens, but now we both are experiencing this fact! She accepted my request after almost 8 days and then we chatted for a while before we decided to meet on the last day of the first month. We were together for a while where we discussed our future life and other things and I gave her Father a call right in front of her! He called her back, she accepted and the rest is history!
