Marriage in my opinion is like a partnership.I am seeking partner, with whom I can spend quality time with, has maturity to understand complexity of issues and the one with whom I can grow mentally. In my overall experience of working as a consultant on wall street, its quite brutal and pretty fast paced. The main objective of finding a partner is to find comfort, stability and strength.

My best friendships have been with people with whom I have something in common. For me, opposites don't attract. In India, my political affiliation is towards right of center. Apart from reading current affairs and following markets , sports is the second best way I spend my time. Either I play or watch, badminton, soccer, pool,... more racket ball, go cart, tennis, cricket , table tennis, chess etc. I love to travel either with the intention of exploring the historical significance of the place or eating local cuisine, doing adventure sports and trying local beer. The books I read are mostly academic pertaining to math or by authors such as Taleb.

From getting rejected to a memory based Indian education system to working successfully among the elites on Wall Street, it has been ride with a considerable ups and downs, having a sound feeling of accomplishment. With life altering decision such as marriage, I hope not have any downs and be successful in my choice of a life long partner. In lieu of the above, I would like to date person for a while before coming to a decision.

My dad works a bank. My mom works for BMC and my sister is married and lives in CA. Family will always be priority and the future circumstances will dictate whether future holds in States or in India.
