My parents put my profile up on Shaadi.com and I was a little skeptical at first but then started to slowly get into it. I am so happy I did as little did I know I would find my true love on here! On Feb 1, 2009, I received an interest from Pullin (ofcourse, I didn't know his name then!). His profile interested me and was one of the few that actually made me laugh after reading it. I decided to accept it that night and that's how we started chatting - first via email and then email moved to im/gchat for several weeks. Finally, Pullin asked me for my phone number and we chatted over the phone. Soon into our interactions, it turned out that Pullin is first cousins with a very close family friend of ours in the city I lived in at the time...what a small world! After 7-8 hours of chatting/texting/emailing/calling each other every day, it was time for us to meet in person to see if this was for real or not. After about 2.5 months of chatting, Pullin came to visit me for a weekend and we hit it off just as expected! After the first meeting, we met 5 more times in person and then got engaged 8 months later in September and a year later, we got married. We are soooo happily married currently and so much in love....never would I have guessed online website would've worked but we truly believe we are meant to be for infinite janam:)!!! It was was a great experience and a big hearty "THANK YOU" - SHAADI.COM It all started in the month of Dec '07... i was browsing on google and wondering who would be my better half and how &when would we meet. Just then the idea of online partner search hit this brain of mine... the answer was "SHAADI.COM" Then I started browsing the available profiles and also updated mine. I did not pay and register, since i always believed that the one who has a genuine interest in me would register and take the conversation further. Luck favored me one fine day... A beautiful girl sent her interest on the 9th of Dec '07...Yes ! i knew she was serious about the subject "SHAADI" and so was I. We exchanged basic introduction, likes and dis-likes, hobbies, family values, and a lot more ... The curiosity built and we decided to meet. I went to her home town "MUMBAI" all the way from "BANGALORE". We met on 25th Dec'07 in Mumbai, exchanged this great idea of getting married, then i met her mother, sister and uncles. here her father was not willing to meet. first, her family did not accept to our proposal. I returned back to Bangalore but we were on continues contact via mobile. My family was very happy on hearing on the mischef i started which led to concrete decision. I also made dime a dozen visits to meet her and spend loads of time with her. It took us 5 months to make our families understand that we were serious about settling down in life; but we wanted both our families to agree to the same and we could have an arranged wedding. Yes ! Finally they agreed to get us married. Both the families sat across and we decided the wedding will happen on 26/06/2008 in Mumbai. The final wait was over, we got married , but then her father was not happy about our wedding. He came and attended the wedding on request and pressure from other relatives and friends. Now we have a sweet princess born on 10/04/2009, who will complete 2yrs on 10th of April this year. this also happens to be the late date of your receiving of the success stories contest. we now live in bangalore, a happy small family. I logged into Shaadi.com on march 23rd and Pooja was the second girl whom i had expressed interest. I was not sure at that point in time if she would except my profile, but then i had decided to find a partner and one of the best ways was shaadi.com. She accepted my profile on the 24th of march 2011 Thanks to shaadi.com i knew her birthday and wished her on the 26th march 2011. We chatted for few days and then around the first week of April we spoke over the phone. 16th April 2011 is when we met in Mumbai, cafe coffee day carters.... and 15th May 2011 got engaged in Jaipur.
